  5. It was a joy to mark Eid with Muslims from across Coventry this morning. My thoughts and prayers couldn't help but be with the Palestinian people, as Gaza faces brutal bombardment yet again. May there be peace and justice for all.

No mention of Sheikh Jarra. No mention of the al-Aqsa raid. No mention of the 13 innocent children killed in air strikes. No mention of the ongoing occupation of millions in an open air prison. You aren’t prioritizing human rights. You’re siding with an oppressive occupation.

On , I want to thank the amazing nurses in Coventry South & across the country. But we need to more than just thanking them. Nurses have faced a decade of falling pay. They're owed a proper pay rise. That's 15% – that's what I'm calling for in Parliament.

This evening, I'm joining colleagues from the Socialist Campaign Group to speak about a bold, socialist vision for Britain. It's a programme to take on the wealthy few & redistribute wealth & power for the working class. Sign-up here to join us from 7pm:

The second most? Black Lives Matter. People do care about human rights, anti-racism, and global justice. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

It's interesting. When I speak about Palestine, I get hostile replies from people outside Coventry, questioning if my constituents care. For their information: Since getting elected, the thing I've been emailed about most by constituents: Palestine and .

Today, outside Downing Street, we showed that the Palestinian people will never be alone in their struggle for justice. We stand in solidarity, today and always.

Nothing in the Queen's Speech about workers' rights. No promise to ban fire and rehire. But pledges to "reform" planning and the NHS. This Tory government works for greedy bosses, property developers and private healthcare corporations – not for workers, renters, or the 99%.

Tonight, seeing footage of Israeli airstrikes kill men, women and children in Gaza, I send my solidarity, my love and my prayers to the Palestinian people. These brutal attacks must be condemned and Israel's illegal settlements, occupation, and siege must end.

The Conservatives don't have the answers to the crises we face. They want to return to an economy rigged for the 1%. This Alternative Queen's Speech – from the Socialist Campaign Group officers – sets out an inspiring vision of a Britain for the 99%.

There’s no mandate for the Labour leadership to move further to Blairism & the right. It’s not what party members voted for & it has no answers to the crises we face. We need an inspiring, principled vision to transform society for the 99%, not bashing trade unions & the left.

When one side is an occupying power – in violation of international law – and attacks peaceful worshippers with grenades and bullets, it's not "clashes". It's oppression.

These horrific attacks on Palestinian worshippers come as the Israeli military plan to evict more than 500 Palestinians from their homes in the illegally occupied East Jerusalem. We should all be speaking up for the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people
