Apparently freesync works in multi-GPU systems as long as you plug your freesync monitor to AMD GPU. This is nice for people like me who have Vega 64/FE + GTX/Titan in same workstation.https://youtu.be/qUYRZHFCkMw

Now someone needs to test the opposite. Does g-sync also work in mixed GPU mode on the g-sync display that is connected to Nvidia GPU, when AMD GPU is rendering. Having freesync + gsync both in same workstation would be great for testing.

It works both ways. As I understand they're making it work by setting up a DXGI SwapChain so that they can render on one GPU and present from the other (with very low added latency).

I wonder what kind of presentation latencies and judder we're talking about tho, cross-GPU communication isn't free after all.
