More should be written about Amazon. Certainly the history of the company is interesting, but it seems like the management and organization of Amazon is very different than at most companies.

Have read that the publicly perceived org structure (specifically two pizza team) isn’t that accurate. Do you have a take on that? Any other co’s that have tried copying the concept?

I think the two biggest factors are the 6-page memos + a service oriented architecture.
