On the subject of his friendship with Buffett, Munger said: “Just the discipline of having to put your thoughts in order with somebody else is a very useful thing.” Poor man’s version is Twitter. Not all followers are Buffett/Munger level, but you make it up in volume.

Depends on the founder, but I think risk of cofounder fallout roughly balances downside of isolated mind.
