@zackkanter Friend told me that http://Amazon.com is propped up by AWS profits, and on its own isn't profitable. I said it's difficult to be sure, because http://Amazon.com is constantly spending on expansion, and thus looks less profitable. Who's moreal accurate?
It’s complicated but I don’t think they’re losing money on ecommerce. Fulfillment centers are a huge capital investment that get depreciated (thus lowering profits) but likely actually appreciate in value. But AWS profits aren’t hurting anything, for sure.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting about the warehouses temporarily lowering profits but long term raising assets. Amazon always playing the long game.
