Critics who think Amazon is killing retail should talk to the millions of businesses/products that were rejected by retail gatekeepers and only exist today because of Amazon’s ‘infinite shelf space.’

Looking at this was literally my day job. It's all junk (or old media products - read: books - no one wants to buy) past the first few million.

Sorry, maybe I’m misunderstanding - are you arguing that Amazon does not have increased selection over a traditional retail store and that this increased selection hasn’t changed the landscape for brands and consumers?
