I can’t find it, but there’s a Buffett quote about the best business being the one that can effectively deploy ever-increasing amounts of capital. Hard to find a better example than Standard Oil. Will take time for ridesharing margins to get there, but could be next in line.

It’s a great strategy if the margins eventually improve, which I think they will (especially since SoftBank’s dealmaking is reducing price pressure).
