It’s crazy how the falsehood “Facebook sells your data” is a nearly universally-accepted truth amongst smart, otherwise-rigorous non-tech people.
"what evidence do we have that Facebook is not selling our data?" seems a bit backwards to me. It can't be disproven. It's like asking "what evidence do we have that Amazon is not developing nuclear weapons?"
