It’s crazy how the falsehood “Facebook sells your data” is a nearly universally-accepted truth amongst smart, otherwise-rigorous non-tech people.
It wouldn’t make any sense for them to sell it when they can charge companies to advertise based on that data instead - without having to give away any of the data at all.
