Do you really think this is what we need? I respect you a lot but this is a solution for so few problems for so few people.

The end point for flying cars solve a huge number of problems for a huge number of people. This is just a baby step. Electric flight is a very big deal.

I mean I get the allure of this. But I’d rather we try to get our cities humming with autonomous buses and good planning practices that build homes for people in places where they can walk to the store.

Why do we have to choose between those things?

Sure we don’t have to, I’m just citing a few projects I think will solve bigger problems for a lot more people. But it is a concern that we don’t work on solving those “on the ground” issues because “flying cars will save us.”

But I’d still like to know the problems this tech solves in my lifetime at scale for millions of people. Not being at all facetious.
