Is reduced cognitive load a good thing? In decision making, reducing cognitive load is not a factor to optimize for (ie investing). What is the limit of living your life by reducing cognitive load.

In a business with many, many decisions to make, I think there is a lot of value in removing some categories of decisions if a great default is available.
