I've met very few shippers that actually like their 3PL.
I have to imagine that one of the hardest businesses to start and run well is a 3PL for small businesses and startups. Easy to force compliance/standardization with software, impossible w physical products - goods show up and very costly to reject.

Yep. Charging people helps offset the cost but you still have to clean up the mess at scale.
