I’d rather have a low quality decision process that won vs. a high quality decision that lost. Time horizons matter here, though

It’s awesome to double down on a hard 17 and get a 4 but I wouldn’t stake a blackjack player who played like that :)

Haha yes. We definitely agree there. When looking forward, process and strategy help you make good decisions. But looking backwards, if you lost, you lost. “I followed the process” is a bad justification.
