All other aspects of the tax plan aside, I think very few non-small-business-owners understand what a big deal the 20% deduction for pass-through is for small businesses.

No idea if it will be good for the economy overall. But it will be beneficial for small business owners when filing taxes.

Zach, I know four small business owners in four different states (all in businesses unrelated to freight) and they’ve been told by their accountants this is not a good thing for them. Can you better explain the pass-through benefits for small biz?

Are they providers of professional services (accountants, lawyers, etc.)? For those folks, the benefit is capped. For other businesses, I don't see what could be bad about it (unless their accountants were talking about the bill holistically, and they're losing other deductions)
