I find that when salespeople insist on explaining their product/service over phone instead of email, they're usually either a) embarrassed about pricing or b) too lazy to type up their pitch.
yep. But it drives me nuts when it's a really simple product that doesn't need any selling, like a simple banking add-on. Holy hell, what do we need to talk on the phone about?

That's a company that doesn't believe in/doesn't have faith in its own products and offerings. Or its customers...thinks they need to "sell"
