Bears are right, to some extent. There are a lot of problems at Tesla (turnover, burn, delays). But I’m not sure I buy the “and so its days are numbered” conclusion.

There are a lot of great, valid points that Tesla bears are making - regardless of any conflicts. Tesla has problems. Doesn’t mean they are existential.

Bill Gurley talks about how much consumers love companies that sell dollars for 80 cents. E.g. Webvan had a great NPS (but I don't think they ever had high revenue). Maybe something else that's overfunded in the consumer space, where overfunding leads to negative margins?

True. But doesn’t seem like cars are underpriced...the compelling bear cases I’ve read aren’t about negative gross margin. More about inability to scale and huge cash burn.

Take a look at Nokia. Management errors caused them to slide in technical advantage and consequently market share.

Nope. This is classic anti tesla BS - e.g saying consumers are ‘greenwashing’ rather than buying one of the best cars out there. Or that tesla won’t impact emissions (as the GCC implodes)

Sorry to go all conspiracy on this but so far tesla has destroyed a lot more shareholder value in the oil business than they’ve created for their shareholders. People are shitting their pants in the oil biz as they try to pass the hot potato to the next idiot
