People who argue that anti-trust was the reason Microsoft lost dominance (which I think is high debatable) never seem to mention the parallel failure of Nokia

Example: $49 Fire tablets. They made tablets so cheap that everything else looks 'overpriced'. This kills the competition but also kills the market value. That Fire tablet is NOT a good tablet, but few will buy a good one for $100 more. Eventually nobody buys either product.
