My car died on the hwy today 
So.. should I buy? Lease b/c all cars will be self-driving Ubers soon? Being a VC makes this a hard choice.

Big changes coming. AVs, EVs, on-demand, etc. Lease or buy used under warranty. Lease locks you in for 3 yrs but has lowest cognitive load.
Used w warranty is 'pre-depreciated' but runs (small) risk of dramatic loss in value if ecosystem changes. Plus pain of selling eventually.

Driving is probably most dangerous thing you do. Optimize for safety & low cognitive load. Lease a very safe car. Auto-braking etc.

Tesla probably safest. Supposed to be an amazing car, too.
