Not nonsense. I've seen this my whole life, far b4 dashcams were even a thing. Especially k9 units where AC is running full time
car tech has advanced hugely in the past 10-20 years. Overheating in modern cars is extraordinarily rare.

True, but I've seen more than 1 modern car overheat @ long idle. Plus police cars run heavier alternators, etc, that pull harder
