Lots of VC career talk lately. Not as glamorous as it seems. The typical VC spends 30% of the day being 5 minutes late to calls, 25% emailing portfolio CEOs with links to competitors asking “is this competitive?”, and the rest of the time writing about why not to become a VC.
This has turned into a VC bashing thread, which is unfortunate. I like VCs and don’t think it’s an easy job.
You mean trying to make money by giving it to a few dozen people you barely have the time to vet with little control is hard?

It's Twitter - everything is a bashing thread. It's a feature, not a bug.
Success should never be mocked. It should be admired, understood and emmulated. Why hate when you could win. I am not yet successful but thanks to Twitter I am virtually connected to lots of people that are. That is great for me. That is great for anyone that wants success.
