That’s an odd take. The primary difference between consumer and enterprise software is the time window in which the software helps users. Some engineers are excited about helping people outside of work hours; some during work hours.
Seems that your attitude towards / experience with enterprise software is exactly why more innovation is needed there. People have to work, but they don’t have to hate the software they work with.
