In other words, it might not be that we haven’t achieved anything since the Apollo missions; it’s that we haven’t achieved anything *because of* the Apollo missions.

A lot of tech that we've capitalized on since then was invented in those years at JPL, NASA, and others ― and funded by government $$. I wonder where a lot of tech would be today if it weren't for the space program(s). And yeah, I also wonder if we're still paying for it... 👍
