After reading the compelling “you don’t have to work hard” books/posts/tweets, highly recommend using the founder/author’s product to see how it stacks up against the competition. Also, if your hobby also happens to be work/business, then consider not optimizing for free time.

1+1 is not equal to 2 here. Probably more like ~1.4 from a time perspective. Examples: Say he interviews an exec at Twitter but they’re not a fit, but they are at Square Say one makes a mistake, he can apply the learning at the other Etc
