One obvious thing that people often forget to mention: do business with people you like. It’s great.

Wait, shouldn't VCs be investing on the people and the companies that can improve human life at scale and return capital to their LPs? What if this comes into conflict with your personal feelings about a founder or partner's disposition?
Presumably at least some investors also prioritize enjoying the 10+ years they spend working with a founder.
