Constantly focusing on orientation reduces the delta between your delusion and reality. Defining a vision at each level of the org ensures teams know to orient in the same direction.

2. Heuristic for building vs buying software: a. Can someone do this better than we can with the resources we have right now? b. Can we get away with just not doing it right now? If the answer to (a) is No, the answer to (b) is typically Yes. It's probably not that important.
