I keep thinking about this tweet - you're totally right. Complexity is the limiting factor. Ideas are simplifications of reality, and making them happen takes herculean effort to patch things over with the right abstractions, so that the average customer can use your product.

Shouldn't complexity relate directly to ideas? For example, if we're thinking of bottlenecks from ToC perspective, then effect-cause-effect should reduce touchpoints within the system, therefore reduce degree of freedom - all aimed towards reducing complexity
