The speed of Google’s decline as a prestigious/exciting place to work reminds me of the disappearance of disposable cameras in a 24-month period growing up.

I’d say Facebook has faced a much steeper decline over the past 24 months than Google
Facebook seems unpopular, but I’m not sure is “unimpressive” (if that’s the right word).

From a recruiting perspective, google is much easier to get candidates to leave than Facebook. So the narrative that Facebook is declining is not as strong as people think and I personally can’t stand their company culture and model.
