Do you have any data to back that up? Or just grumbles from a few employees? The people I know at Google are exceptionally talented and love it there. Still a very hard place to poach talent.

No data. I also know lots of talented people are very happy at Google. What I’m talking about is the outside perception from my conversations with folks in tech.

From my discussions, it is widely seen as a retirement home for smart people at best or a minimum security prison for geniuses at worst.
