Hah, yeah. That's a diff situation than what I had in mind. The scenario I was thinking of is when people create a process that, from start to finish, fits into <=2 weeks. My take: founders are too busy for us VCs to deserve their speculative relationship-building time. Yes, we love getting to know founders as early as possible, though we are also willing to invest as early as possible. I love waiting for a bank account to open so we can wire.
