        Occam's razor is almost always true when it comes to people's unethical behavior. Certainly true when it comes to SF housing policy.

        Isn’t that contingent the majority of property owners? New housing is basically them donating money to make the region even more overcrowded and even less like it used to be, whatever that means to them. Maybe the problem is with democracy.

        Why don’t people just build without asking for permission. Probably costs less to physically defend building site than fight for permits.
