google doesn’t kill companies. it’s a boogeyman at best or assisted suicide at worst.

In fact it killed an entire category in comparison shopping engines — including a unicorn in Nextag plus big exits in PriceGrabber and Shopzilla to name a few. I think they also killed Cyanogen tho I didn’t follow it close enough to be positive. So yes it kills companies
