I am much more excited for people to have the debate at *this* meta level, vs the surface one that’s currently being had on taxes
Fascinated by the idea of less R&D spending for PR purposes. The problem is that carryforward losses will wipe out a lot of future tax on that purposeful profitability, so would have to be a painful long-term strategy.

Companies also position themselves to avoid taxes, sometimes very aggressively. Inversions were a legal tax avoidance mechanism until that loophole was closed. But it’s also pretty clearly gaming the system.
