You must know that Amazon's tax bill is low from carryforward losses. Do you think Amazon should voluntarily donate in excess of its legal tax obligations, or are you suggesting that Amazon be taxed on some measure other than profit, or is there something else you're proposing?
And I’m as skeptical that national infrastructure is crumbling due to lack of funding as I am that SF’s homelessness crisis is due to lack of money spent.

Don’t companies like Amazon benefit disproportionately to individuals regarding infrastructure use? They pay fuel taxes and tolls but the wear and tear on roads is much greater from product delivery than individual tax payers.
