I don’t think founders are saying everything is perfect. If founders were satisfied with the way the world was they wouldn’t be starting cos. I especially don’t think all founders think FANG hegemony is okie dokie.

To my recollection, I’ve never heard a single founder or would-be founder complain about a big tech company’s dominance.

why do startup founders care about big cos being divided? It would probably help them (easier to enter existing markets, less danger of bigco destroying their business model)

Because a world where you don't need permission to do things is inherently more favorable to founders than one in which you do. Compare regulatory background in which tech has grown up to, say, cosmetology.

While I agree that politicians are going to kill growth I do think the big tech companies have to much power and are getting too big. A few like Google and Facebook are past monopoly status.
