I remember seeing an article maybe ~6 months ago about why the Bloomberg terminal is still so popular, centered around an ability to do deals inside of the messaging platform. Anyone know what I'm talking about and have a link?

Fun article, but this part is entirely wrong. I traded distressed and inv grade at Salomon Brothers and Bloomberg was useless for trading and its trade tickets were garbage. Its analytics and hedging were useless for anything complex in the ‘90s-00’s, let alone any fun structurespic.twitter.com/b1TYXyQoQf
