Who are their “vendors” in this case? You mean the sellers on their marketplace? Or the vendors to their own enterprise? Or both?
Traditional Net XX wholesale vendors. Though there is float with marketplace sellers, too - Amazon pays out on a 2-week schedule.

Let me pull this thread out for the freight audience - so given that Amazon is using the float between sales it receives cash for almost immediately and when it has to pay wholesale vendors or marketplace sellers, it's theoretical (or maybe even likely) to assume...

...they would use that as a way to aggressively target a logistics-as-a-platform market. Essentially each sale of a physical good it makes online translates to capital it could use to build a LaaP product? That should seriously scare LSPs who don't exactly have that same ability.
