2/2 Most such books are shit, yes (also lots of non-fiction in general - largely because usually some random business person can’t write well) but “change your career”? Come on, that would be logic breaks down immediately.
I don’t have a problem with productivity books. I just I think that most productivity “problems” come from a lack of engagement, and it’s better to treat the root cause instead of the symptom.

I think human psychology is more complicated. I know incredibly brilliant and engaged people who have productivity problems (lack of quotes intended) that don’t have single root causes. This line of thinking negates therapy. Anyway, like I said, I really come in peace
