How is it fair to expect an opinion piece to be neutral?
It isn’t about neutrality; it’s that it is so far out of touch with reality, and written by a smart person, that the only logical conclusion is intentional trolling.

Reality is a construct collectively defined. It might be different from *your* reality; much of the point of the piece is that the governing culture/reality of the valley that produced this might be off base
