I’m sure that book will get into Taiichi Ohno, but he personally is a wealth of info.. should read his original versions of the TPS as he was the main architect... just one of his many gems “Go and See” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genchi_Genbutsu …

It's Taiichi Ohno's book :) He includes a few passages from an essay written by Toyoda Kiichirō.

Why documentation is important. You can't "study" what isn't available to study. Japanese designers were the largest group to visit the GM design studio archives, until GM shut it down . . . .
