The biggest investment class that no one is working on: private equity -> venture funnel. Back a great operator in buying a small-to-mid-market business in a broken industry, implement best-in-class SaaS software, then build/dogfood venture-scale software to fill the gaps.

I actually think in many of these cases (depending on the industry), connecting different pieces of infrastructure together is actually going to be more costly and slow than starting from scratch
