Upon further reflexion I think you're right. Our anti-trust system only takes into account if consumers are harmed or not. So far Amazon appears to be nothing but a positive for consumers, with regard to pricing, speed, selection, innovation.

Where I live I kinda see Amazon as having a huge influence over a couple of industries like grocery and IT infra, but because they have things like a strong vertical integration network and dev mind share that brings a higher BoE for competition to enter the market.

Amazon video and Netflix may be evenly competitive because optimizing film production is still hard. Breaking it up by product delivery maybe will make it easier for that to happen post breakup?

Hastings did mention Amazon as the one player he could not account for. Something about the Amazon's ability to make money from shoe sales associated with a watched program. I think Warren's larger program of splitting Facebook/Whatsapp/Instagram makes the most sense
