Why? It sounds like this would make more sense to the consumer from the outside, and not the monopoly that the business infrastructure that makes it hard to compete with Amazon.

1/Amazon doesn't have a monopoly, its probably best characterized as an oligopolist in several separate industries: cloud (aws, Azure, google), online marketplace (50% marketshare), voice (Alexa, Siri, Google).
