Yes, we should have a lottery system, where only certain companies can choose to run on AWS, and some get the privilege of running on the Oracle or IBM cloud.

Interesting that when it comes to the plethora of top down social schemes progressives would like to impose on 300 million people, it's "progress", but a single company serving cheap computation to a lot of people is existential risk and fragility.
