I mean more that the end result is more important than communication time. Ie if you respond fast but help sucks that is not nearly as good as slow to respond but problem solved.

Curious, assuming the response is about expectation setting (for future delivery), is there a limiting factor that causes a trade off between initial response time & end result quality?
