That happened almost 20 years ago and I still think about it all the time. I used to tell customers all about how we can automate everything for them. Now when someone asks how we’re different, I start by saying, “we’ll respond to every single email you send us right away.”
Yep, as Woody Allen said, 90% of success is showing up. But it's amazing how we can fail to do that (distracted, tired, mis-perception about what the goals.) (Our goal is this is a fun bar, the drink orders will follow. Trust me. (I'm guessing)
And still people think massive job loss to automation is scaremongering.
