      I find myself less worked up about this topic now that I understand the position better. Proponents want to reduce income inequality, full stop.       The current discussion is about the tax being 70% only on income after 10M, though, isn’t it? So wouldn’t that have no affect on assets like shares of a company? Hard to keep track of what exactly ppl are discussing here so I may be wrong

      Yes, it’s just income, not cap gains. But I’m assuming that most proponents don’t know the difference and just want wealth creation >$10M taxed at 70%.

          There’s definitely a contingent of those and they’re happy to just tax the rich as much as possible. I’ve also seen many on the other side of the issue that have no idea what a marginal tax means. Typical of Twitter debates!
