Nobody should be building 100% on top of serverless. The tooling isn’t mature and serverless is not a magic bullet solution. Anybody who tries to sell you that reality is lying to you as it stands today.

Of course it’s working great, you’re selling me. We do a lot of serverless work, we provide serverless solutions to customers (though we don’t spend a lot of time labeling it as such). There’s a (huge) place for serverless technologies and patterns.

That said, engineering an *entire* company atop serverless is setting yourself up to encounter an entirely yet-to-be-discovered mountain of technology debt we can’t fully understand yet. The tooling is changing rapidly, things you use today may very well be replaced tomorrow.
