Which public company stocks would you want to own for the next 5 years, but not the next 10?

Great examples. I think 5 years might be a long time horizon for Twilio.

Is there a common thread here? Or all for different reasons?

My guesses: Facebook & IAC - paradigms may change. Pivotal - F500 companies (their clients) are churning quickly, and also multi-cloud will prove to be a useless & costly strategy. Twilio - SMS paradigm may change and AWS may eventually be a competitor.

Appreciate the Twilio insight. Bought SendGrid IPO and it’s been great, but now it’s basically Twilio stock and I’ve never followed them and am struggling to form an opinion. Any recommendations for sources of further analysis?

I love Twilio. Great company, great product. Have owned since the dip when they lost Uber. Price has run up a lot since then
