I think retail stock analysts should post selfies inside the chain stores they cover to show that they’re remotely in touch with reality, particularly when providing optimistic guidance.

You ever read "One Up On Wall Street" by Peter Lynch? My second favorite book on investing after Graham's Intelligent Investor. Went into depth about how he checked out consumer products to see if they're good or not. Really, really good read. Investing but also clear thinking.
