A BRIEF HISTORY OF TESLA: - no one wants electric cars - hmm but there's not enough range - fine but that's only for the rich - batteries are too expensive to make a car so cheap - yeah but good luck delivering - sure but it'll never turn a profit - that's just pent up demand!

The Bolt is just a really ugly car. That matters. The only attractive cheap EV is the Fiat and the range is constrained on that. The Jaguar and Audi cars will test demand. The one I want is the EP8 though, which unfortunately isn't here yet.

Worth also noting the cost curve will come down. We'll see different preferences when people aren't paying a premium to drive electric.
